The Voyages team has over 20 years of experience in small business sales, marketing, and support. We understand the difficulties that small business owners face and we've set out to improve the technology and services available to them. Both partners have co-founded successful companies in the space and have developed a strong network of merchants, founders, and investors.
Derek Henmi
Managing Partner
Derek is a San Francisco Bay Area native, raised in a family of entrepreneurs. With a mixed professional background including design, real estate, financial services, and technology, he brings a unique perspective and approach to problem solving. Derek strives to bring a positive mindset to everything he does always looks for the best possible outcomes for everyone involved. Derek co-founded Vivid in 2017, a merchant services and technology company built to support small businesses. As the acting CEO of Vivid, Derek manages the day to day operations and overall strategy of the company.
Guiseppi Marzelli
Managing Partner
Guiseppi is a personable and passionate entrepreneur dedicated to the startup world and technology. He hails from New England where he grew up working in his fathers deli and restaurant giving him great insight into the challenges of that world. After graduating the University of Colorado, Boulder he led sales efforts in San Francisco for Groupon’s local payments and POS solutions (Breadcrumb now Upserve). After Groupon, he was the first salesperson at technology giant Zenreach (Atomic Labs) selling Smart WiFi Technology. In 2013 he co-founded a tech company named OvationCXM (formally known as Boomtown) to help fintech companies use their CXM platform to drive a better customer experience.
